Father God, please help me to walk by the Spirit. May I allow you to lead every step of my life because I know you lead me to good things. Please help me to be strong when I'm tempted to go off your pathway and deliver me from all the destructive power of the evil one.

You declared to Joshua that 'I will give you every place where you set your foot' (Joshua 1:3) and I pray that as I step out on adventures for you, I will know:

• provision for every need

• strength to overcome all opposition

• courage to keep my heart strong

• wisdom for every decision

• love for each person I encounter

You have promised that 'The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.' and I thank you for directing my steps. Give me the sensitivity to hear your voice clearly I pray.
